Quick-N-Dirty entry:
WSU has a compatition to see who could build the strongest truss. My entry of spring '96 won. It weighed under 23 grams and held a centered load of over 500lbs across a 12" span. Best part is that it more than doubled the strength to weight ratio (and strength) of the second place entry submited by several grad students.

This page (at this time) is an artifact of my setting up an experimental site structure.
